DVR programs temporarily missing

Watching DVR recordings.  Went to watch a new one from my list and a couple of them were gone!  Not deleted, not previously watched, just disappeared.  Find the shows On Demand to see if DVR recording was a watch option…nope.  Pulled up DVR list on another TV and the two missing programs showed in recordings until I moved off the screen, went back and than missing on that TV!  I just saw them!!  Next day…the recordings are back….like no problem. Happens every couple of days!!  [Edited: "Language"] going on here.  DVR synced, rebooted….recording temporarily just gone.

Rebooted system.  Synced DVR.  Check other TV.  Checking recording settings. Checked deleted, history, recently watched.  Nothing. Pulled up program to see if DVR recording was a watch option, not.  Random recordings record, disappear and then reappear the next day.

We appreciate you working with everybody @Terrisc23 <edited>. I would also check your DVR storage to make sure your space isn't filling up causing the system to make room for new recordings by automatically deleting content. Fastest way to check is by hitting the Xfinity button on the remote. Then go to Saved, Recordings, and you can see your storage from there. At your convenience let us know how full your storage is.

try a 'test'. note one that is missing (season/episode) and when it shows up again, play it on a home set top box. press the OK button and see if there is a 'cloud' icon next to source name DVR.

I’ll let you know tomorrow…At 7:20 this morning I had 10 recordings.  Went out for awhile, now at 3:00 I only have 5!!!  Half of them just disappeared completely!  When they show up tomorrow, I click ok to play the recording…where exactly do I find source name DVR to look for the cloud?

this is so frustrating….I just signed a new contract a couple of weeks ago now this is happening.

hit the OK button on the remote and look in lower quarter of screen and just under 'name' of program there will be either DVR or "cloud icon" and DVR. take a picture of the 5 with the phone and try to check each of those when they are alone and others are missing.

Well, the missing recordings are back per usual.  The DVR title is under each recording name when I go to play them.  Just like the recordings that did not disappear.  There is no cloud icon 😩. I see no difference in the ones that disappeared vs the ones that haven’t.  No what can I do.  Do I need a new DVR? Thank you.

I apologize this keeps happening, I'm also thinking maybe a DVR swap is needed, would like to swap the current DVR at one of our local stores?

do you have more than one DVR? are the recordings that go missing your recordings or "someone else's"?
