DVR playback exits

We have a new XiD-C box. Since getting this box we've had DVR playback spontaneously exit. We are able to resume playback, though the restart point is typically a few minutes before where we were when it exited. Any thoughts on preventing this?

Yes, I've been to the support site. There is nothing there that relates to the symptoms we are experiencing. I should add that I have tried power cycling the x1 box, and checking for updates. We are up-to-date. This happened again the most recent time we tried to watch a recording.
