DVR percentage not showing and problems
Hi, after more than a month of my cable not working at all we were finally able to have a technician come out and fix that problem. While he was here he swapped out the DVR we had for a different one. The cable works well now but the DVR does not. Sometimes it does not record scheduled shows even though they are listed on the schedule, sometimes it records them but then they end up disappearing after they record and it does not show me the percentage of space that I have left on the DVR like it used to, it just lists how many shows are there. I have called technical support and advanced technical support and they have no idea what's going on. Now they're saying that there isn't any recording space on the DVR that I currently have and it's all cloud-based, but even if that's the case shouldn't I be able to see how much space I have left percentage wise? I'm also not happy if my recording space has just been downgraded because I pay the extra $10 for more hours of recording space every month. I have about 60 hours of programming recorded right now, and what I understand you're supposed to be able to have at least 150 with the cloud anyway. So something is not right but I don't know how I can fix it. My current DVR is an Xg2v2-p. Thanks for any help, I'm about to cut the cord.

an xg2 is a coax connected non-4k non-DVR Hub. It can provide up to 3 tuners to inhome set top boxes (xi3/xid/xi5/xi6). when watching a recording on the bottom left quarter you will see either "DVR" or a cloud icon DVR.
