Dvr not recording

I try to set up a recording but instead of the red dot I get the circle with the line through it like no smoking symbol, and I cannot record at all. I have plenty of space in my DVR. Everything was on till yesterday afternoon

Ours came back on its own this morning (2/10). Comcast agent was supposed to call me yesterday, but never did. (surprise)

@Rabbit51682 Welcome to our community forum! Thank you for reaching out so we can make sure you're able to record all your favorite programming. Did you get an error message along with the circle with a line through it? Were you recordings other programs at the same time?
