Dvr not recording certain programs

I have recently had issues where certain series no longer record even though the program info page says they are scheduled to. These series recorded for years and recently stopped.

user_29b8qp Thank you so much for your post for help with your show not recording any longer. Have you by chance synced your DVR recently? On your X1 TV box remote if you hit the Xfinity Button and use the right arrow to get the gear icon to access the settings. You can then use the down arrow to scroll down to Device settings. In device settings at the very bottom, you will see the option to Sync your DVR. Hit that option and confirm this will update what you have in your Schedule and your DVR memory. If you haven't done that give it a try and let me know if you still run into these missing recordings. Also be sure to say "recordings" into your remote to see how much storage you have left to ensure there is room.

My DVR will not record the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. I have synced all my TVs and remotes. I have re-requested that the series be recorded, but no luck.

@user_6lyoov Are you able to record the show manually? Meaning going to the show and hitting record?

@user_6lyoov  As XfinityDena suggests, I would setup an episode recording using the Guide.  First, I would delete the Series recording and wait at least 5 minutes before setting the Episode recording. When you go to the Guide, press the [record] button for each episode, which is a hassle and time consuming.  After a week of Episode recordings, I'd try the series recording again.   If you have access to streaming either via the Xfinity Webpage or Xfinity Streaming app, I would use them to record for the first week or so instead of the Cable box Guide.  You might also try until you get through to contact Xfinity through chat or phone and see what they can do - there maybe a problem with your account that you can't see.  If you are fortunate, they will fix it.  I know this process is very time consuming, but can help.  What ever you try, I would delete the Series recording before doing anything else and wait at least 5 minutes.  I know this procedure sounds odd, but my years of experience finding work arounds has yield some success.  I hope this works for you or you find another solution.
