DVR FREEZES

When I’ve played back recorded shows my DVR service freezes up for way too long that I quit watching. Why am I paying for this horrible service?

user_8kt60p Thanks for posting on our Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your TV box is giving you trouble and can understand the frustration. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps manually or through the Xfinity app/website? That would be a great starting point as the automated troubleshooting with detect and correct most common issues.

I am having these same issues with DVR freezing and audio cutting in and out. It's actually now happening when watching live broadcast tv. I agree I pay way too much to have this poor quality of service. Is there a fix? Do I need a new STB? This one is about 3 years old.
