DVR does not record entire Program
My dvr randomly does not record entire programs. Today it recorded 11 minutes of a 120 minute show. Yesterday it recoded it all, the day before that it recorded 41 minutes. I’ve had this problem for quite some time. I have the dvr set to record 30 extra minutes.

It sounds like we may need to go through a bit of troubleshooting to determine the root cause of this issue with recordings. Are you using the cloud DVR or the physical storage on a set top DVR video box?

That pretty much started when "Smart resume" got mess up" and the Comcast clock was reset somehow. It is off by a minute or two. Here is a fix. When you want to record a program, set it so it stops 3 minutes late. Then you won't miss the end of a show or whatever. You can go back and adjust the programs you have already set up to record by doing the same thing. If you have, say, General Hospital recording every weekday you just have to go into the next time it will be recording and just adjust the first one. The other days will adjust too.

I have had the recording set to end 30 minutes late for several months. I’m recording a two hour program and sometimes I get it all and then I get 11 minutes or 41 minutes or whatever.
