DVR Connected TV Restart 3 or 4 Times Per Week

The television directly connected to our Xfinity DVR requires a restart 3 or 4 mornings per week.  Yes, I have thoroughly rechecked all cables connected and verified the configuration of the television itself.  Black screen; no sound, no nothing.  Then, using the Xfinity 'My Account' smartphone app, I choose the "Restart a Single TV Box", choose the DVR box, the restart completes and then everything is resolved.  This started happening more and more frequently and now occurs 3 or so times each week.  Is this hardware?  Firmware on the television?  Any additional suggestions as to how to debug this?  Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey there @user_ejm. We do appreciate you for taking the time to reach out to our team! It sounds like this could be an issue with the cable box itself. Have you tried replacing the box yet? You can do a simple swap at any Xfinity Service Center, or we can even ship you a new one.
