DVR Connected TV Restart 3 or 4 Times Per Week
The television directly connected to our Xfinity DVR requires a restart 3 or 4 mornings per week. Yes, I have thoroughly rechecked all cables connected and verified the configuration of the television itself. Black screen; no sound, no nothing. Then, using the Xfinity 'My Account' smartphone app, I choose the "Restart a Single TV Box", choose the DVR box, the restart completes and then everything is resolved. This started happening more and more frequently and now occurs 3 or so times each week. Is this hardware? Firmware on the television? Any additional suggestions as to how to debug this? Thanks in advance for any help!
