DVR Can not record - message ‘channel subscription required’

I called last week and support said the issue would be resolved by last Saturday and it is not. For some channels when I try to record a show or series, I cannot and I get an error message stating that the channel subscription is required. However I have access to these channels. One example is channel 772 ESPN. In addition on the Xfinity app, I cannot see all the channels I said suck I subscribe to. This has been the case since I became a customer. This is extremely unusable for key station I want to watch. I have already spoken to two people with both of them unable to solve the problem. Please fix this.

Hey @user_48e84e. I'm terribly sorry to hear that you've had this issue since you've started service with us. That is definitely not the experience we want you to have! Are you able to view these channels normally and just have trouble setting recordings, or does the channel not appear available at all?

I have the same problem. It lets me record shows on NBC and CBS, but I wanted to record a show on TLC, and it gives me the same message. I just got Xfinity in December and upgraded to a bigger channel package last week.

Hello @user_bfb4a9, are you still having the same subscription concerns after upgrading to a bigger package?

I'm having the same problem with Hallmark Channel.  It is part of my package and overnight was removed from my favorites and when I try to schedule a recording the DVR says requires a subscription.  It is part of my package, I'm watching it now!  I had the DVR go through the restart and it did not fix the problem.

@cherylmortenson yes! My hallmark channels were removed too. I thought my kids did it but now I think it was the FVR..I also can’t record hallmark (regular and movies and mysteries but I CAN record hallmark drama). It’s so frustrating
