To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or DMClick the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
I was just told by a customer service representative that limited basic no longer exists; that Comcast ended it a few months ago and the cheapest possible cable is over $80/month. Nice to see the response this month from XfinityKei indicating that perhaps limited basic does still exist. Provided it does, either Comcast needs to clearly inform their customer service employees that it exists, or at least to tell them not to lie.
