DOES X1 HAVE THE SAME BROADCAST CHANNELS AS A CABLE SUBSCRIBER GETS?
That is not stated clearly anywhere. They say you get the networks but it doesn't say if that is the same local TV as you'd get as a TV cable user.
It seems a simple question, but it's difficult finding an answer.
Thanks

My question is this: I have internet only. I have Flex. I can apparently upgrade that to X1 or something -- or so the person told me when I first ordered the internet.
I want to know if I can get broadcast channels on the internet the same as if I had cable service, period. It's not a complicated question, but apparently nobody at comcast is capable of answering.
I was told I can. When I "chatted" yesterday they tried to sell me a $167 service.
I hope I can and for less than $167. If if I can't I will cancel and go back to my old service, which I haven't disconnected. I will do that because the person on the phone lied to me.

Thank you. I think I have to go back through customer service for the upgrade, though.

Just so you know, I am not on hold because I was just told it is not true that I can get the broadcast channels with internet-only. That leaves two possibilities, both entirely possible with Comcast:
1. The person I just spoke with doesn't know what she is talking about, or
2. The first person -- who sold me the internet service -- lied. Twice, as I asked twice.
I have never once had a good interaction with this company. Not once. Ever. Just awful.
