Does the X1 box ever power off?
Just installed three new XI boxes and have noticed that the remote doesn't power off the X1 box. TV powers off fine as expected but X1 boxes seem to stay on all the time. Is this expected?

After how long? Left one on for a couple of hours, still showing a blue power light.

I read an article about power savings in 'power save' mode for cable boxes. They mentioned X1, but didn't say exactly which box it was. They measured a whopping 1.5W difference between normal and power save!
I have an XG1v4, and decided to disable power saving. I found it can take 2-3 times longer for the TV and AV receiver and cable box to finish all the HDCP handshaking and get me a picture compared to just leaving the box fully powered on.
