Do I need a dvr box
I’m getting conflicting info. I only have one tv (Fire). In order to record multiple shows at the same time and then watch them later do I need a dvr box or will everything be available on the Xfinity stream app? If I need the box is there an additional fee associated with my basic cable package (150 hours of storage is more than enough for my needs).

Hello user_b73fq6 No you don't need a box to record. If you do streaming only then you have the option to record through the app and it will be a cloud based DVR. So that is totally fine to do.
As for boxes, all our new plans do include 1 for free. The older cable plans charge $14/box. So it does depend on what type of plan you currently have.
