disable the screensaver

no wait 5 hours or whatever, I want to DISABLE the SCREENSAVER.  Comcast has NO RIGHT to have this much control over what I choose to watch on my television.  Considering abandoning all services if things do not change very soon...  Comcast has far far FAR too much overreach.  What they offer in terms of value pales in comparison to what each person pays for monthly services.  Comcast knows this, they are aware of everyone's problems, but they simply do not care.  Change my mind.

The cable box updates every single night for all customers wasting 10-15 minutes of our time.

The screensaver is FORCED to ON can NOT be disabled by customers.

Channels often change on their own, without my input.  I assume this happens to other Comcast customers too.

Comcast never updates anything useful or offers kickbacks, they only charge more and more money for less and less features and usability.

Comcast at this point is walking on VERY thin ice because Im upset at these policies and my family has been paying a premium for all Comcast services and we are getting the short end of the straw every single time.

They can afford to lose us as customers and they won't bat an eye, but if everyone else jumps ship too, Comcast will feel the burn in their greedy pockets.

@user_dbjr61 Hi there, thanks for the post. I'm sorry to learn about all the concerns here. I understand the frustration though. The screensaver is not something that can be turned off right now, but appreciate the feedback. The changing of the channel without your control is not something that happens often. Are you watching and then all of a sudden the channel changes? 

 

We would really like to help review the account to see how we can make the bill right. Please let us know if you would like to do that.

But why can't it be turned off "right now"? It should be an easy fix on Xfinity's part. You have enough people complaining about this that the change is warranted. We're seriously considering changing providers due to this issue alone.
