Delay on Live Sports.
I’m watching a Live football game, but on Xfinity, I am seeing plays 38 seconds behind my neighbor who has Wow. I restarted my box, but it didn’t change anything. How do I fix this?

In general, there’s going to be latency no matter how it’s being delivered. This is especially true between providers. Are you viewing the game on a cable channel or streaming? There can be up to a 30-second lag when streaming a broadcast.

Hello @user_f3f9c3! It is natural to experience some time delay in TV broadcast. Within your own home do you have more than one TV box and is there a bigger delay between those devices?

It’s the same on all my TVs, but my next door neighbor is 38 seconds ahead of me. When I see a snap, he’s already seeing the end of the next play!

Ok, I understand there will be latency, but why is mine delayed 38 seconds more than my next door neighbor?

After watching multiple sporting events (World Cup, NFL, Super Bowl), why does Xfinity have a 30-60 second delay from other providers like Verizon Fios. My friends text me about the game plays before I see them. I have newest equipment and updated software. I have rebooted many times. This is an ongoing issue. Xfinity please respond!!!
