Could new Moca 2.5 adapter be effecting my X1?

I installed a new Moca 2.5 adapter that has a built in splitter. I installed it in-between the wall and the X1 main device.  After installing it, the X1 still worked fine however I was having an issue with the upstairs TV.  The upstairs tv xfinity box would boot up and look like it was go to show live TV, but it wouldn't.  It would show the guide, but it wouldn't stream any live content.  When i removed the moca device it worked fine.  I've been running moca on this network for years without problems, but i just upgraded to 2.5.  I've also never had a moca device on the same port as the X1.  Seems like this shouldn't be a problem? Could it be the cable? The built in splitter? Other ideas?  Thanks.

I was able to resolve this issue by installing a separate splitter vs using the one built into the moca adapter.
