continuous massive delays when trying to change channels or access guide

It's been getting worse and worse and right now I'm rebooting my cable box once a day, press guide...the screen darkens and you...wait....and wait...and wait...sometmes you're lucky and get the guide, sometimes it kicks you straight back out again. If you're lucky enough to get the guide then you might press page down....and you wait...and you think maybe you didn't press it, so you press it again...and wait..and suddenly it jumps down two pages.


I tried to get to Guide > Sports > soccer at the weekend and with delays and jump backs, and took me over 3 minutes to get the channel I wanted!


Sometimes I'm watching the channel and I get a dark screen with thee little dots as if the system is trying to do something....and you wait...and maybe a minute later you give up and have to change channel and back again to get rid of it.


This is getting totally unacceptable and never used to happen.
