Connection issues with provided TV box on a power outage

We’re new customers so it took us a while to figure out how to navigate the router, but we had to call tech support twice. The provided TV boxes were refusing to connect to the WiFi network and each time, they had to keep rebooting remotely. Well, it turns out the boxes were, by default, assigned as Guest devices. The solution was to permanently assign them to the Household. It surprises me that this wasn’t something tech support immediately caught onto and it needs to be shared. If you’re having issues with having to manually enter your info in and it still isn’t connecting properly, please ask people to check this first and save everyone time. Access the router from a device or phone that is connected and make sure the assignments for all of your home devices are set to Household! You’re welcome...
