Comcast Labs says Low Signal but everything works fine?
Besides the fact that this feature has now been "experimental" for years... how reliable is this anyway? Has been showing Low for a few days now, but xfinity status center shows everything green and connected before and after I powercycled gateway, DVR and disconnected /reconnected all cables to the 8-way splitter (only 5 ports used, the other ones capped off properly). If anything has changed that made the signal go low it would've had to be on Comcast's end.
Is it worth having a tech come out?

If you have Comcast Internet, you can check your signal levels at your gateway or modem. They may be low but clean enough to not cause issues, yet.
On X1, you can check the signal levels directly:
Hold EXIT for 5 seconds, then within a few seconds, press the down arrow key twice, then the number 2 key. Go to System, then DOCSIS. Be patient as it can sometimes take several seconds to respond, depending on the X1 model box.

Thanks guys, but I wonder what interface @andyross is referring to for the signal level check. I have an ARRIS TG1682G gateway router and a XG1v4 DVR and I don't see any buttons or keys.
