Closed caption not syncing

or I should say getting out of snyc. When watching a show, tpyically HBO On-demand, the CC progessively gets out of sync.

CC starts off good but 0ne hour into watching a movie the CCs are 3-4 seconds ahead of the audio dialouge.

Anyone else have or encountered this issue?

Having sync issues too, but not on all programs. Sometimes ahead of dialogue, way behind, or appearing and dropping out before it can be read. MSNBC is one where it's too slow and gets the words wrong. I've reset and restarted all the hardware, updated all device firmware and closed and reopened captioning. Connections and cables are good, speed test is fine for 4k TV, newer smart tv is running on hardwired lan - not wifi. Turned off all other devices in the home, but they were not stealing bandwidth. I see the same recommendations regarding troubleshooting from various providers, but not a single one actually saying what they are doing to solve these issues; just contact us.

Like bad weather, I guess we just pay our subscription fees and live with it. I see the awesome experts have not gotten back to you.

Hey there, have you turned on the closed captioning built into your tv to see if that sync is in line with our cc?
