channel guide not working

why doesnt my guide work on my remote

we had this happen to one box (XG1) night before last.  Issue was resolved after restarting it which took a bit longer than usual.

 

Xfinity button - Settings (gear icon at far right) - Device Settings - Power - Restart (very bottom) then Restart to confirm.

 

know it is just workaround but solved here ... good luck!
