Changing channels without needing to press the 'OK' button
Hello, I have a remote that says 'XR2' on the back, although I was told it is actually a Universal remote. Can I set up this remote so that the user can change the channel without needing to press the 'OK' button?
Currently, after selecting a channel, the screen displays a search box & a list of programs. The user then has to press the 'OK' button to get to the requested channel. Can we 'bypass' the search box and go directly to the selected channel?
Thank you!

Hello Andrew,
Thank you for your reply. Sorry, my question wasn't clear. We have a voice remote (XR11) that works great. However, my 93-year old mom does not want to use the voice remote; she prefers the XR2. I'm just wondering if it's possible to bypass the 'search' feature so she can select a channel with the XR2 (i.e., press the channel number) without also needing to press the OK button. There is a 2nd TV in our house where she can channel surf with the XR2 (and not need to press OK) so I thought maybe we could set up our primary TV the same way.
KInd regards,

DESPISE having to hit the okay button all the time to do anything! Who thought that was a good idea?
