ch653 on X1

Intermittently since 7/24/19 having problems w/no video or audio on X1 for channel 653, Error Code 03063

Reported twice to Comcast on 7/24 and 7/26 

Both times a ticket was opened and a. stronger signal was sent to X1 boxes and ch 653 came back

3rd time Comcast said would send a tech

Cancelled the tech because ch 653 came back and has been okay for 3 weeks until today 8/22/19 @5:30p mst, no ch 653, then came back @10:40p without me calling Comcast

Never had this problem until getting X1 boxes/remotes earlier this year

What is going on?

Comcast please help!!!

That’s a tuning error message. Check all of your connections and remove any unnecessary splitters. The signal levels of the frequency that the channel is coming in on may be fluctuating back and forth between being good and bad. Have a tech out and don’t cancel the appointment.

Yes, and Comcast advised me they did same thing when I called and tickets were opened.  Issue resolves for awhile and then it happens again.

Don’t understand why it is intermittent.

Have an Appt. w/tech and hopefully it will be resolved

It’s intermittent because probably the signal is right in the gray area between good and bad and just fluctuating enough to make a difference
