Certain DVR recordings will not delete.

I have several DVR recordings that will never delete. When I attempt to delete them, I receive the message “Your request is in progress.  This recoding of [name of show] will be deleted.”  However the recordings are never deleted. I’ve tried to sync the DVR but that doesn’t appear to fix the issue either. Please help. Thanks.

do you have an actual DVR set top box? what you describe is having a physical DVR that is unplugged and you are watching via a streaming set top box or roku type device (the message 'is in progress" points that way. If you have a physical DVR turn it and the TV it is connected to and try to delete using that set top box DVR.

@Rustyben I have a physical DVR box and a secondary box. I’ve tried deleting from both to no avail. I’ve reset both boxes and synched both boxes. Nothing seems to delete the few programs that never delete.

from the DVR connected TV, select one of those recordings and play it. look in the lower left hand 1/4 of the screen and see if it says "DVR" or "cloud icon" DVR. Using a smart device, do the same recordings show up?

if you have a smart phone, tablet, can you watch and fast forward to the near end and let it ask you to delete there?
