Can't get HBO Max app to launch

I've tried:

-deleting all cookies/data from apps via X1 box privacy settings

-restarting box

-Xfinity system refresh

-unplugging box

-checking parental controls

-signing out of all devices via my HBO Max account

And I still can't get the HBO Max app to launch. Just get the purple screen with HBO Max logo and three animated dots at bottom, which stop moving after about a minute.

All other apps on my X1 box launch and work fine (Netflix, Prime, Disney, etc), just not HBO Max.

The HBO Max app opens and works fine on our two other TVs/Xfinity boxes in my house (they're not 4k boxes...just regular ones).

Just can't get it to open/launch on my main TV, which as the 4k Xfinity box.

Anyone - please help.

 1. Click "Sign In" if necessary
 2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (upper right corner of this page)
 3. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
 4. Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
 5. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
 6. Press Enter to send your message
