Can't get 5.1 sound with XiD-p box.
Installed the box the same way as the old DVR (DCX3400) which I was able to get 5.1 with. HDMI from box to tv, optical audio out from the tv to receiver. Changed audio setting on the box to expert but only get stereo as a choice. Doesn't matter if it's live tv, recording or on demand.
I have a Roku and a Playstation hooked up to the tv the same way and get 5.1 so why can't I get it with this box. Anyone have any ideas?

does your TV have an ARC out HDMI and the receiver have an ARC input HDMI?

No, it's an older tv and reciever that's why I use the optical audio.
