can remote control cable box AND sound bar AND TV
Can any xfinity remote control my cable box AND my sound bar AND my TV all at the same time.
Now I have the cable box and sound bar controlled with an XR11 but at a minimum I want to be able to control the TV on/off [and if I can get the TV volume too that's a bonus( usually tv volume is muted and sound comes from the sound bar, but on some occasions TV sound is useful)]

The answer is YES. I called Xfinity for the umpteenth time and FINALLY spoke to a very knowledgeable tech rep who walked me through the process. I can only use the remote to turn on/off the TV not control volume but as an added benefit I don't need the TV volume anymore because in the process the ARC feature of the TV/sound bar started working so I can get sound originating from the TV (e.g., a movie on the Samsung menu) in the sound bar.
