can not record shows

The system will not let me record shows

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work through this issue with you, we’re here to help every step of the way. To get started, I’d like to ask a couple of quick questions so we can better understand what’s going on. Could you let me know how you’re setting up your recordings? Also, are you seeing any error messages or codes along the way? Looking forward to getting this sorted out with you!

Hello,

Thanks for contacting me.  I recorded shows all the time before.  I would go to the show, hit the INFO button on my remote and the ENTER THE RECORD BUTTON.

There are no error codes.

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window   
Press Enter to send it
