Can I use my verizon Internet instead of xfinity internet for the cable apps

I already have internet with Verizon FiOS... I can't access the apps ony xfinity cable it says I need xfinity internet to use it... Do I need xfinity internet to use the apps like peacock.. netflix.. Hulu ETC...

There’s no getting around it, there’s no access to the apps without Comcast internet.

Do I need to have xfinity internet to use the apps on the cable.. or do I need to buy a cable modem or something in order to access the apps included with the Xfinity Cable??

I'm not going to buy xfinity internet when I already have Verizon FiOS internet here. It makes no sense to pay for 2 internet services

The X1 box requries Comcast Internet to use the apps. You are free to use another device (Roku, Amazon Fire, etc...) with your Verizon internet instead.
