Can I use an eero mesh network instead of an XB7 to link with a wireless TV box
I'm moving from Uverse to Xfinyty. I have Xfinity now for internet and use an eero mesh network. It's smoking fast. One of my three TV's will need a wireless TV box. Xfinity saleswoman on the phone says I need an XB7 router to get the wireless TV box to work. An employee at a nearby Xfinity store tells me my eero should work fine with the wireless TV box. The Eero tech support says it should work fine as well. Anybody know for sure, some postings say it will not? I really don't want to degrade my eero mesh network by bridging the eero to the XB7. Is it possible to run two wireless networks using only the XB7 for the wireless remote box? Any help willbe greatly aprreciated.

Thank you. I have a few questions. It will not work to it's full extent in what way? Are you talking about the eero mesh system, the XBR7 wireless signal or the TV signal?
I plan on using two wired boxes. One in the basement the other the first floor. My cable comes in through the basement, that's where the eero mesh network begins.
I was toying with the idea of using a splitter on the first floor from the coax to connectr the first floor wired TV box and the XB7. I was thinking the XB7 would have a better shot of sending a signal to the wireless TV box on the second floor than from the basement. Do you think that would work?
My option of last resort is to scramble around in my crawl space to push more coax out an exterior wall to extend the coax caple out to the second floor. A coax cable was that fed signal to the second floor was cut and I need about three inches of cable to put on a new RG-6 F Connector connector to re-stablish the second floor line.
Thanks in advance for your help.
