Can I add cable cards?

I am looking to possibly change my current cable TV package. I have 2 TiVos with xfinity cable cards in them and grandfathered into an older plan. All works good

I want to obtain an X1 cloud recording capable box. I have been told I can't "add" it to my current account. There are apparently some cheaper internet/TV plans I can get on that include the X1 box, but from my understanding , I would have to drop the cable cards in my TiVOs.

Is it possible to switch plans, obtain the X1 box as desired and then ADD the Tivos (w/ cable cards) back to my account?

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
