Cables not working

there was some work being done in my area today I got a text message saying that the work was completed. I just got home. Going to watch the game and my TV will not connect. What is going on

Hi there, @user_yalpm5! I am sorry to hear that your service is offline after the area work was completed. Sometimes after we finish area work the modem and other equipment will need to be reset. The Xfinity app can be very handy in this type of situation. The app will run a scan of the area for problems and allow you to sign up for text alerts. If there are no area issues you can troubleshoot and send signals to your equipment. If none of that works, then you are able to schedule a Technician visit. We want things at your fingertips! I know it has saved me a few times now! Have you tried to reset the equipment?
