Cable is pixelated
Cable tv is pixelated and picture/sound drops. I also have Xfinity cable. Newer Nighthawk modem.
Cable tv is pixelated. Netflix/Hulu, DVR are clear pics.
I tested coax port from wall. Good.
New coax cable to modem
New splitter.
New coax to box.
New hdmi to box.
New DOCSIS filter on coax to box.
Picture pixelated after each change out and test.
I am out of ideas.
I want a tech to come out and check the lines and he told me had to come inside first and cannot just check the outside. Though when I booked the appt, the CS never said that was a rule. I have a disabled parent and pets in the house.
Any suggestions on remedies?

I recently switched to a XB 8 modem from an XB3 modem and immediately had pixilation issues when the WiFi was on. The moment I unplugged the modem the pixilation stopped. This to me was a no brainer. I mentioned it to one of the reps at my Xfinity store and he said to give it time for the signal to adjust. I wasn't buying it and many of the comments online from dissatisfied customers told me this was an issue Xfinity couldn't resolve. I did wait for two days to see if the problem would resolve itself.
Upon doing research on the issue and what worked to resolve it I came across a video on youtube regarding a signal booster. I looked on Amazon and bought a ANTRONiX VRA900B/AC Integrated Residential Amplifier not knowing if this was the answer but, for $30 it was worth investigating and I could return it if it didn't work. It took about thirty minutes to install and worked immediately. The only downside was I had to reestablish the WIFI signal again to all of my devices.
On the upside my ethernet connection speed was over 525mbps and over the WiFi just under 100mbps with a VPN.
I hop this helps anyone going through the same situation.

Thanks for meeting us here in our community, @KatieClooney. We're happy to help. Thanks for sharing your troubleshooting steps.
Have you unplugged and restarted your modem to ensure you have the latest updates? A bad internet connection can interfere with your cable service as well.
