Cable Box Shuts Off On Own And Won’t Turn Back On Unless I Reboot

Over the past few weeks my cable box has been shutting itself off randomly (this happens a few times a week). Nothing a press on the remote turns it back on and the only way for me to get it on is to reboot it by unplugging it from the power. It’s really frustrating to sit down thinking I’m about to relax and watch tv and then have to go through this whole process!

I noticed some older posts on this message board about similar issues. Have any of your recently had problems like this with your cable box and, if so, do you know how to fix this problem?
