Cable box on but screen blank black the internet works

After a lightning storm the cable does not work. Cable box is on but screen blank black the internet works. We have rebooted with no success. All plugs have been checked.

user_9jjnsr Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your cable service. I understand that you have rebooted and checked the outlets but the screen is still blank. Just to confirm, have you also made sure that the input on the TV is correct or gone through any troubleshooting in the Xfinity app? I've 'found that 9 times out of 10 I can resolve most service issues by troubleshooting through the app. Simply open the app, select the service tile on the bottom row, go to TV and select troubleshooting to begin.
