Cable box not working

New cable box is not working

appropriately. All connections are tight end box has been reset several times

We'd love to help get your cable box issues addressed! After powering the device up, is it perhaps getting stuck on the welcome screen? Or any other error messages/codes received? Or does it appear to be stuck in a constant reboot loop? 
We appreciate any details that would better help determine what the cause of the malfunction may be! We look foward to hearing from you!

is the set top box wireless or connected via coax connector? if by coax would you check the connector to which the coax is screw-on connected to see what the name of the coax port connected? might say out to TV or in from cable.
