BYL soundbar code

I am looking to pair my BYL soundbar to my new insignia TV via the Xfinity 15 remote. I have tried the general set up instructions but it can't seem to find the code. Does anyone know what the code could be to pair the BVL soundbar to my Xfinity?

Hello, @user_rfv6in! Thank you for reaching out regarding your soundbar pairing concerns. I'm not sure if I can find the soundbar you're speaking of (you mentioned "BYL" and then "BVL," but I get different results online, not quite matching either one of those). Please review How To Pair and Program Your Xfinity Voice Remote, and let me know if this helps! You may also search online with key phrases such as "Xfinity pair soundbar to X1 remote" and pull up other articles/videos with instructions that may help. If you're still running into trouble, let us know! And we may be able to do some further troubleshooting with you.

@XfinitySara​ It is for a BYL. I tried the code search with no luck. It worked with my other X1 box and remote. I just got a new TV, so I got a new box and router too because mine were at least a few years old. Not sure why it won't pair with new one if the old one did.

@user_rfv6in - Thanks for clarifying! When you say that you've tried the code search, where exactly are you looking? On the television screen while attempting to pair the remote, or searching online? Have you used this link yet, by chance: Program Your TV Remote and Get Remote Codes?

@XfinitySara​ The old code was 12056. The remote only accepts 3 digit codes.

I found where to enter the 5 digit code but it does not work anymore. The remote flashes red and green. Can you look up the code 12056 to see what other codes are related that might work?

I'm not seeing the BYL soundbar on the list. When you go to the website provided above to Program your TV remote, it should provide multiple codes you can attempt were you able to find those?
