Does your TV have a red power indication or have you verified there is power to your TV? Have you tried reprogramming your Xfinity remote to control your TV? Have you tried using your TV's own remote to turn it on? Have you tried using the TV's manual buttons to turn it on to verify it is working?
Did you check to be sure power save function is 'off' ?
