blinking blue light

i have a blinking blue light on the x1 box and it is stuck on the welcome screen. when i hold down the power button, the light turns to a solid green and the tv screen goes blue with the work pace on it. yes ive restarted, unplugged, and made sure all the cables are properly connected.

Hello there, @user_34bd18! Thank you for mentioning this to us through our forums page, and thank you for your continued patience while awaiting our response. I understand that you may be still experiencing some trouble with your X1 TV cable box, and coming from someone who has spent their fair share troubleshooting, I can see how this could become tedious. Rest assured; you're with the Xfinity pros now, and I will do everything I can to help!

 

Before we begin, I just have a few questions for you, if that's okay? Are you using a coaxial splitter device, connecting the cable box, and the modem together? If so, have you tried disconnecting this piece, and reconnecting? Have there been any new developments on this situation since this post was originally created? Thank you in advance, and I look forward to getting to the bottom of this with you! :)

 

Also, have you tried troubleshooting your cable box through our Xfinity MyAccount app? It's super easy, and really easy to navigate through, and all you have to do is; log into the app, select the "TV" tab, and from there, you should be able to click on the cable box in reference, and it should allow you to click on "Troubleshoot", and then you should be good to go. I hope this can be helpful for the future! I know it's done a lot for me over time! :D
