Battery life on remote

Is anyone else having issues with battery life on their remote controls? I replace the batteries with new ones, straight out of the package and either I get the message that the battery life is low (yes, immediately after putting in brand new batteries) or they last for a week and I get the message again that I need to replace the batteries.

Greetings, @IrishScorp! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your remote, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

 

I have actually had a similar experience to what you are describing with my graphing calculator, and I think it was due to a circuitry error on the device, because my batteries tested just fine, and they worked in other devices, but not on my calculator. If this was an Xfinity remote, you can take it in to any Xfinity Store and swap it for a new one at no charge. I can also make arrangements to send you a new remote from here, if that would be more convenient, it might just take a few days to reach you. Please let me know if I can be of assistance.
