Background darkness

The Background darkness setting doesn’t do anything for me. 1 is just as dark as 11. 
I have an LG 4K

Hello, @user_2b38ab. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to our team on Forums. Once you select the background darkness level do you press 'OK'? (this choice should return you to the General screen).

Hi Gabby, yes I press OK and it goes back to General and it shows Background darkness level 1 and under Info or any other overlay the image is very dark. And btw it’s the same on my other tv which is a Sharp and not 4 K.  So the Background darkness feature just doesn’t work and you (your tech people) have to fix it
