audio & video out of sync

All day today (8/4), on every box (3), on every TV channel, and also when streaming saved programs.  The audio is ~1 second out of sync with the video - extremely annoying.  Tried unplugging boxes and tried software reset through the help menus ... no joy.  What the heck is going on with Xfinity today?

Good evening @gneuner2, and thank you for reaching out on our Forums with your audio and video sync issues. We can troubleshoot your concerns further. To get started, can you please send us a Direct Message with your first and last name along with the address on the account?

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
