sleep mode must stop, called several times, tech came to house, stopped couple days now returned, stop turning off my tv

My XG1V4 didn't update/restart this AM, OR WAS OFF/ASLEEP w/XFINITY failure but for sure was actually 'unavailable'. On-line start my box didn't work for it either. Refresh system wouldn't work either,  nothing except a 505 error code. (505 is best of recolection). My CABLECard Tivo was fine so I was never without  something to watch but ...................... the XG1V4 is 'closeted' and not a pleasant experience to pull the plug. After a plug pull it was better than 15 minutes to picture. I don't know if 15 minutes is appropriate or not. Plug pull did work.


Will remote need relearned after a 'plug pull'?

So sorry for the delayed response! The remote should not need to be re-paired after a plug pull and I hope that the box is running well after you reconnected it. If not, please let us know and we'll be glad to assist further!
