Are new cable boxes RF only?

Howdy,
We got a new cable box XG2V2-P, Pace PX022ANM. Is this box operated exclusively by RF signal from the remote?

The remote that came with is an XR15-UQ.

My existing box is an X1 which works on IR (InfraRed) signals. We have learning remotes that we use with the X1. The learning remotes are IR not RF and control our other devices in addition to the X1 cable box.

Before I hook up the new XG2V2-P, I would like to know if our Infrared (IR) remotes will work with it.
