Apple TV+ login issues

 We recently signed up for Apple TV+ and as much as we love the programming, the hassle is just not worth it.  Every single time we access the app, we have to sign in again with my husband's phone (he has the Apple account).  I see this problem was raised a couple of years ago - what is the plan for resolving?
