Apple TV and Xfinity streaming app

Same problems as others: can’t activate streaming app on Apple TV as I get kicked off after authenticating. What’s the fix Xfinity?

Hey there, WarrenJA, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your Apple TV and the Xfinity Stream app. I know I rely on the Stream App to watch TV in my office. Are you having this issue with the Xfinity Stream App on any other devices? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps already?

I also have this problem. After a couple of months, Xfinity Stream stopped working on my Apple TV streaming device. I get to the log-in screen, log in, and then it says

I've deleted and reinstalled the Xfinity Stream app and have gone through this log-in sequence many times in the last 6 months. It doesn't work. 

I've gotten the usual runaround numerous times from Xfinity support. In my subscription, I'm paying for Xfinity Stream on my TV but Xfinity Stream is not being delivered on my TV. (If I wanted, I could watch it on my iphone, but why would I want to watch it on my phone?)

Xfinity promises that Xfinity Stream works on Apple TV.

But the truth is, Xfinity unilaterally ceased supporting Xfinity Stream on the Apple TV streaming device and, as usual, hasn't bothered to tell customers or customer service.

Similar issue. 

I can load the App, sign on successfully.

Then I am informed that "this device can only access Xfinity Stream on your in-home WiFi."  Well if it's not obvious, I'm not walking my Apple TV around to other WiFis.

Any advice?

If you are still having issues not being able to access Apple TV on your Xfinity Stream App, you want to ensure that your Apple TV device supports tvOS version 15 or later. Do you get any error codes when this issue comes up? If it continues to be a problem, let us know so we can run through some troubleshooting with you.
