Another great success for Xfinity restart_Logitech Harmony remote
We have had the Logitech Harmony Remote 950 for more than four years when suddenly, it just didn't work. I tried to figure out what had happened. The resolution was to use the TV (Sony) app, connect it to our Deco Mesh wifi, and we could start up the Xfinity display. Using the Help in Settings, I did a restart, and this fixed the problem. I had spend hours trying to figure out how to fix this problem. Remembering the advice that an Xfinity tech person had advised a couple of years ago on this forum, I thought the restart might help. It was a long shot, I thought, but it worked!!
I will confess to having purchased another 950 which I found on Amazon since Logitech is no longer making remotes. We really love this device since we are in our senior years so fiddling with many remotes is a real bother.
I just wanted to let more people know that the restart function is very, very helpful.
