Activated Peacock, Shows as Active on Peacock.com, cannot watch Peacock on TV

Activated Stream Saver Peacock on Xfinity via computer. Subscription hub shows Peacock is activated. Cannot log into Peacock App on X1/TV to watch shows. Peacock requests that I pick a plan. Several attempts to log into Peacock App with email and password proved useless. But, no problem watching Peacock on my computer. Please advise. Thanks

Hello, @user_oz64f6! Thank you for creating a new post regarding your Peacock access concerns. You've come to the right place, and we are more than happy to help however we can! Since it works on your computer but not the TV, the issue isn't your subscription status, it's most likely a cache or account-linking mismatch on the X1 box itself.

Here is a step-by-step guide to force the X1 box to recognize your active StreamSaver subscription.

1. The "Refresh String" (Fixes Sync Issues)
Sometimes the X1 box holds onto old "Guest" or "Logged Out" data.

- Say "System Refresh" into your Xfinity Voice Remote.

- Select Refresh Now. This takes about 10 minutes and restarts your box, but it forces the box to re-pull all your active entitlements (like StreamSaver) from our servers.

2. Clear the Peacock App Cookies/Cache
If the app on the TV is stuck on the "Pick a Plan" screen, it may be cached.

- Go to Settings (gear icon) on your X1 box.

- Navigate to Privacy > Locally Stored Data.

- Select Clear Locally Stored Data. (This will sign you out of most apps on the box, but it's often the only way to clear the "Pick a Plan" loop).

3. Log in via "Activation Code" (The Browser Method)
Instead of typing your email and password directly into the TV (which clearly isn't "talking" to the box correctly), try the secondary login method:

- Open the Peacock app on your TV.

- Instead of clicking "Log In" with email, look for a button that says "Activate on another device" or "Log in with a code."

- On your computer (where you are already logged in, and it works), go to peacocktv.com/tv.

- Enter the 6-digit code shown on your TV. This often bypasses the plan selection screen because it pulls the "Active" session from your computer.

4. Verify the "Primary" Email
A common culprit: Xfinity StreamSaver often requires the Primary Xfinity User ID email to match the Peacock login.

Check if the email you use for Peacock is exactly the same as your Primary Xfinity email (not a secondary user or a Gmail alias).

If they are different, try logging into the TV app using your Primary Xfinity email address even if you used a different one on the computer.

And please let us know if this helps!
