4K UHD Cable Box

I recently purchased a 4K TV. There's considerable motion blur with my existing X1 cable box, model XG1v1. I called Xfinity about upgrading and they said that the 4K/UHD cable boxes are not available so they put me on a wait list. Is this accurate and how long is the wait for a box? I prefer a wired cable box with built in DVR, so I think I'm looking for model XG1v4.

Hi @user_btjjgd This is a great question. I have a link for the boxes we have https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-hub-vs-companion-box. This link also has a comparison chart as well, so you can see the DVRs versus non DVR boxes.

We do not have the details of the waitlist for the 4K boxes however once they're available someone would notify you.
