30 second skip function no longer works, yes I've searched and tried all the tips and tricks
Referring to the 30 second skip on Pg up/dwn which I've been using for 10+ years as an Xfinity customer.
Had my X1 4k box replaced due to failure, new box only will skip 5 mins fwd/back despite repeated programming attempts (who wants 5 mins skipping, just bizarre??).
Have tried 3x Setup 0030, 3x Setup 0050, then 3x Exit 0030. Have tried restarting box, at 8x and counting. Have tried 3 different remotes. Have tried 2 differernt cable boxes. Have tried holding Setup for 5 seconds and the 0030. Every trick you can find with an exhaustive Google search including every 30 second skip post on this forum. I've been able to do this successfully many many times on multiple boxes over the years. Now nothing works, please help.

try exit, exit, exit 0500 which resets the box, then do exit, exit, exit 0030

Hello! I was curious if you have attempted a system refresh from the Xfinity app? Thank you so much for getting us in the loop. This does not seem to be rooted with any type of timing hiccup.
